No objection for vise versa transfers of teachers

The Telangana government on Tuesday informed the Hyderabad High Court that it has no objection for vise versa transfers of teachers working in Agency to plain areas.
A division bench while dealing with batch of petitions permitted the state government to go ahead with the counseling for transfers.Some petitioners urged the court to declare the Sub Rule 5 of Rule 5 of Telangana Teachers Regulation of Transfers Rules 2018 in restricting making applications against the posts available in plain areas without providing any opportunity for submitting ap-plications to the vacancies available in the agency areas as illegal.
Mr J. Ramachandra Rao, additional A-G, told the court most teachers in Agency areas are not attending the schools, resulting in a decrease of pass percentage in the schools in the area.
