Narsingi police have booked a negligence case

A six-year-old boy was electrocuted when he came into an electric pole at PEBL City, a gated community at Narsingion the city outskirts late on Monday.
The mishap occurred when the boy, Monish, a Class Two student, was playing in the play area of the community. According to the police, Monish accidentally touched a lamp-post in the play area and suffered an electric shock.Residents who noticed this rushed to his rescue and tried to revive him, but in vain. He was shifted to hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
The Narsingi police have booked a negligence case against the developer, management and the residents’ association and are investigating.The body of the child was taken to Tamil Nadu, his native place.
