Officials seized 12 quintal PDS rice, two held

Hyderabad: The Vigilance officials on Thursday night arrested two persons and seized 12 quintal PDS rice and two mobiles from the possession of them. According to vigilance sleuths, on reliable information they conducted Raids in the Golnaka division limits and seized the PDS rice. The suspects were buying the rice for Rs 8 and selling for higher prices in other states and gaining easy money. The accused and the seized material handed over to Amberpet police to take further action.
